From Grain Valley to the Ends of the Earth

Jesus didn't draw a small circle around His mission — He drew one that covered the whole world. That means FBCGV isn't just a local church doing local things. We are a sending church, a praying church, and a giving church — and we believe that what starts in Grain Valley should ripple all the way to the nations. The same God who is moving in our city is moving across the globe, and we want to be part of what He's doing everywhere.

Church Missions

Local Missions  

Jerusalem starts at home. Our local missions focus on Grain Valley and the surrounding communities — meeting tangible needs, building relationships with those on the margins, and making sure that the people closest to us have every opportunity to encounter the love of Jesus. Local mission is where the global vision is born.

Associational Missions  

FBCGV is part of a larger family of churches through our Baptist association, and we believe that churches are stronger and more effective together than apart. Through our associational partnerships, we participate in collaborative mission efforts across the region — planting churches and reaching communities that no single church could reach alone.

North American Missions  

Across North America, there are cities, towns, and communities where the gospel has barely touched the surface. We partner with North American mission efforts to support church planters, evangelists, and missionaries who are doing the hard work of reaching underserved and unreached pockets of our country and continent. What God is doing here, He wants to do everywhere.

Global Missions

The Great Commission is global by definition — and we take it seriously. FBCGV is committed to supporting global missionaries, engaging in international partnerships, and sending our own people to the nations. Whether through prayer, giving, or going, every member of FBCGV can be part of reaching the ends of the earth with the good news of Jesus.
